About the Role and Responsibilities

About the Role:


Work with Channel Sales and the Professional Services organization to determine where the partner technical team needs to be from knowledge, skills, and tools to successfully deploy McAfee products and solutions.

Design, develop, implement and execute a Technical Enablement strategy / Framework menu (in partnership with the WW Enablement and Professional Services team) and the operational plan to scale and support the growth of partner services revenue. Develop plan to scale and leverage training programs so that they are repeatable, available on demand and appropriate for international audiences. Explore new ways to drive partner technical teams productivity with innovative mobile applications. Develop business requirements for skills assessment approach / tool for our partner technical teams. Analyze and leverage geography-based best practices to continuously improve the Global Post Sales Enablement Framework. Share Enablement proposals with key decision-makers in Geo teams. Engage and collaborate with stakeholders in a way that is conducive to achieve the desired agreement that deliver on Geo business requirements. Brings together the views of individuals or groups with potentially conflicting goals and achieves closure or complex issues, using diplomacy and tact.

Key Responsibilities:

Building the capabilities and competence of our partner post-sales technical skills for McAfee. This includes defining requirements and partnering to deliver a post sales training program that drives revenue opportunities and skills to our partners.

You will engage with the Channel team WW to understand their and partner’s needs, develop a plan to meet those needs, establish a handoff model between worldwide and geography teams, and work cross-functionally to ensure key initiatives are moving forward, Focus of these efforts will be on:

Building a foundation of capable partner individuals through implementation of a scalable partner individual certification.

Creating a consistent scaling engine for solutions that allows new solutions to be delivered to Vendor and partners via a standard enablement process targeting the right partners.

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills & Education:

- MBA degree
- 10+ years’ experience
- Management Consulting / Strategic Operations and Planning experience preferred
- Drive and interpersonal skills are paramount; exceptional strategic thinker and analytical skills; ability to address cross-functional and cross-organizational issues independently; proven track record of high-impact success; high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial work ethic required to drive business outcomes.
- Ability to have high level discussions with sales management to determine business drivers, needs to accomplish needs and how technical enablement can assist in achieving these needs
- Ability to find needs, design enablement solutions and deliver solutions to partner technical team with credibility and impact.
- Success in this role will be predicated upon the ability to effectively facilitate, influence and collaborate with various internal constituencies across McAfee.
- Consultative approach with a track record of successfully developing and executing strategy on a large scale
- Structured problem solving & strategy formulation – ability to take a large, complex problem and break it down into components, then develop actionable recommendations
- Flexible and resilient leader with the ability to gain consensus among others and manage sensitive situations.
- Must be comfortable operating in a fast-changing, demanding environment
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization and build trusted advisor relationships
- Must be a team player and able to work with and through other
- Orchestrate organizational adoption of new processes requiring behavioral and cultural change
- Experience in sales, marketing and/or operations processes and knowledge
- Effectively manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
