About the Role:


The ITBM Business Systems Analyst will provide subject matter expertise and governance for the PMO team in support of an enterprise wide rollout of best practice based Project methodologies. The Business Systems Analyst will maintain governance through an IT Steering Committee and will be responsible for ensuring that project information is accurate and compliance for process is aligned with the stated department objectives. In addition, the BA will interact with departmental stakeholders to capture requirements, ensuring an agile method for project management by a diverse set of project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Job duties and responsibilities are focused on ITSM development and implementation activities, which include, but are not limited to:

- Provide technical subject matter expertise around the following solutions:

- Project Management Governance
- Governance readiness for Project phases
- Compliance and governance reports
- Operate IT Steering Committee meetings
- Administer projects in the ITBM system
- Deliver governance decisions to stakeholders
- Govern project category
- Dashboards & Analytics
- Project Lifecycle Framework (PLF)

- Gather requirements and implement hosted processes for the PLF
- Administer reports for hosted process owners

Develop use cases for PLF enhancement

- Develop new lifecycles based on stakeholder requirements
- PM Community Management

- Event Management for PM Community, PM Summit
- Organizational Change Management for the PLF
- Incident support
- Deliver best practice information to PM community

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills & Education:

- Experience in IT Service Management (Desired)
- Experience with BMC Remedy and ITBM platform (Desired)
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, IT, or related field
- Excellent presentation and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Expert knowledge of Visio, MS Project, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Ability to gather, analyze, and organize complex stakeholder requirements and bring cross functional teams to consensus
- Previous experience in a PMO organization
- Experience in stakeholder requirements management
