About the Role:
The Financial Analyst’s primary responsibility will be a Business Partner role supporting the G&A Departments. FP&A is a dynamic department as in addition to the day to day roles/responsibilities, we are also involved in acquisitions and reporting requirements from our parent company, Intel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trusted business partner to translate strategic objectives into operational results. Focus on supporting WW IT departments.
- Use management accounting/finance information for planning, decision–making and control.
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, communications and professional skills/competence in developing reporting to the needs of management.
- Recognized expertise in own area.
- Lead contributor to the team; may mentor and coach others.
- Analysis – The analyst will prepare, review, and present (monthly/quarterly) on a variety of Worldwide reporting including but not limited to; Expense Reviews, Profit & Loss statements, Vendor Trending, Operations Reviews, Financial scorecards and KPI’s. Responsible for month end close; including all necessary research, journal entries, and accruals.
- Budgeting/Forecasting- The analyst will work with Management & FP&A teams to prepare quarterly and annual plan as well as preparing monthly forecast and variance analysis. The analyst will have monthly review meetings with the Business management teams to discuss expense variances.
- Special projects – The analyst will assist in various special projects that arise. Examples being cost reduction activities or cost benefit analysis to determine optimal areas for incremental investments.
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
- 7-10 years industry experience-preferably from technology sector
- Experience in budgeting/forecasting and reporting
- Advanced excel skills
- 4 year degree
- Preferred:
- CPA or MBA
- SAP & Hyperion Planning
