About the Role:
The Financial Analyst position provides support for management reporting and analysis to business units. The team prepares, reports, and analyzes budgets and forecast for operating expenses, headcount and capital expenditures. This position has primary responsibility for tracking and approving headcount, supporting the budget and forecasting process, and tracking operational metrics. The analyst also reports regularly on bookings attainment
The position reports to the Sr. Finance Manager - FP&A (BU Finance) in Plano, TX. This position has no management responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Track and approve headcount
- Assist in the budget and forecast process
- Assist in the preparation of quarter-end financial reports and flux analysis
- Perform ad hoc analysis and modeling of expense, headcount, and bookings
- Provide expense, bookings, revenue, and headcount information in support of business case preparation
- Ad Hoc – Be able to produce information for one time requests and assist in various special projects as needed
- Assist in preparation of monthly operations review metrics and operational dashboards
- Analysis - Provide commentary on trends and be able to drill down on problem or opportunity areas
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
- Minimum 4 year of work experience in accounting and/or finance
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Excel / Experience with Hyperion, SAP, and Access a plus
- Strong attention to detail and the desire to take ownership of a project
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-confident, strong team player attitude a must. Must be a self-starter
- Bachelors in Finance, Accounting (3.0 GPA minimum on 4.0 Scale) or equivalent work experience
- Preferred:
- MBA a plus
