About the Role:


The Sales Operations Specialist is a key member of the Global Sales Operations team, reporting to the Manager of Global Sales Operations. This position is a hands-on role and the link to ensure that the necessary infrastructure, operations support and sales processes are fully defined, understood, deployed and leveraged. Plan, implement and maintain territory data for Sales organization from initiation to delivery working closely with Sales. Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing territory maintenance within the CRM database.

Key Responsibilities:

The Sales Operations Specialist will have responsibility for all aspects of Sales Operations, including systems, tools, programs, sales order audits and processes to improve business performance. This role will work closely with Sales, Finance and Marketing.

Conduct detail analysis of CRM database rules and identify gaps in design

-
Manage and deliver data needs in multiple environments to meet the needs of the business

Responsible for delivery of Sales Territory analysis and assignment for Sales Organization

-
Plan and implement data assignment with given market strategy.

Drive structure & discipline with regards to sales support tools and process

-
Implement sales development programs

-
Measure and track performance for all Sales Operations activities. Deliver solid qualitative and quantitative analysis to demonstrate value and highlight specific contributions of sales operations activities

Advisory capacity on needs and areas for improvement

-
Support the continuous improvement process.

Develop deep relationships within the matrix organizations

-
Assist in driving yearly planning and quarterly reviews

-
Promote best practices

-
Collaborate across functional groups to work through strategic initiatives

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills & Education:

-
Strong 3+ year track record of sales operations or in a similar role or significant business exposure in Hi-tech hardware/software industry

-
Knowledge of technologies such as Siebel, Oracle, and SAP

-
Strong Project management skills and able to multi-task.

-
Proven experience in evaluating and summarizing sales operational data

-
Experience of working with Sales Management, Sales Finance, and Marketing to support the sales leaders in meeting their primary objectives

-
Ability to drive results in a matrix organization

-
Advanced skills in MS Office (particularly Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

-
Operational experience with CRM and CRM reporting/analysis preferred

-
College degree required

-
This is a full time regular position
